This notice describes how Perasys Labs Inc. ("Perasys Labs," "we," "us") handles information in connection with this website (the "Site"). The short version is that the Site is built to collect as little as possible: it has no accounts, no forms, no advertising, no analytics, and no cookies set by us. We believe a company whose platform is built on data ownership should run its website the same way.

1. What we collect

Email you send us. The only personal information we receive through the Site is what you choose to send when you email us at the address published on the Site: your email address, your name if you include it, and the contents of your message.

Hosting logs. Like virtually every website, the Site is served by a hosting provider whose infrastructure automatically processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the service, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, requested URLs, and browser type. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors. The hosting provider processes it under its own privacy terms, typically retaining server logs for a limited period for security and operations.

Nothing else. We do not set cookies, run analytics or tracking scripts, use advertising or social media pixels, fingerprint devices, or load resources from third-party servers when you browse the Site.

2. How we use information

We use email you send us to respond to you and to carry on the correspondence you initiated, including design partner, advisor, and investor conversations you request. We do not sell personal information, do not share it with third parties for their marketing, and do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a mailing list you did not ask to join.

3. Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate: a website hosting provider that serves the Site, and an email provider that hosts our mailboxes. These providers process data on our behalf to provide their services to us. We do not authorize them to use it for anything else.

4. Legal disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Perasys Labs or others. If that ever happens, we will disclose only what is required.

5. Retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as it is relevant to the relationship or conversation it concerns, and then for any period required for legal, accounting, or record-keeping purposes. You can ask us to delete correspondence at any time, subject to those obligations.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information we hold about you, such as the right to access it, correct it, delete it, or object to certain processing. Because the only personal information we hold from the Site is correspondence you sent us, exercising these rights is simple: email us at the address below and tell us what you would like. We will honor requests as required by applicable law, and we apply the same basic courtesy regardless of jurisdiction. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under United States state privacy laws, and we do not process personal information for targeted advertising.

7. International visitors

Perasys Labs operates from the United States, and information you send us is processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By emailing us, you understand your correspondence will be handled in the United States as described in this notice.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to a static informational website and standard business email to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this notice

If our practices change, we will update this notice and the date above. If we ever introduce features that collect more than is described here, such as forms or analytics, we will update this notice before they go live.
